Sometimes it goes away
If I could just stop thinking about it I'd probably sleep all day
But then the hunger comes
And drags me away
It takes me to that place in life where no one wants to be
Where time stands still
And the skies touch grey
And no matter how hard I try something makes me stay
Like memories of better times
That slowly fade away
And now all the memories you have left are twisted
Torn and frayed
So you try to work it out
But it don't go away
And if you can just stop thinking about it,
You'd probably sleep all day
